Aaron Furphy is a seasoned entrepreneur and the founder of Mourne Management Systems Limited, bringing a comprehensive perspective to business growth that spans from front-end development to operational output. A once recognised Practitioner of the Chartered Quality Institute (PCQI) and a fully authorised AEA AS9100 Lead Auditor, Aaron collaborates with the world’s most prestigious certification bodies to uphold rigorous global aerospace quality standards.

​Aaron’s expertise is deeply rooted in the Aerospace and Defence supply chain. He holds the unique distinction of being the first person in the UK to champion an SC21 award within an engineering company and the first in Northern Ireland to do so under the sponsorship of major defence provider.
​This milestone reflects his proficiency in quality planning and his ability to steer complex organisations toward ambitious operational excellence goals. His experience is broad, with a proven track record of successful system implementations across diverse engineering sectors and public service organisations.

​Beyond the audit floor, Aaron is a dedicated advocate for the entrepreneurial ecosystem. He previously served as a Lead Consultant for the formerly GoForIt programme across two NI council areas, where he directed business plans to drive sustainability and export growth. His technical insight has also shaped the region’s innovation landscape through roles on steering committees for major R&D SME projects.
​On an international scale, Aaron held the prestigious role of Non-Executive Director of Partnerships for the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), working alongside global policymakers and investors to build flourishing networks for entrepreneurs.
